The SENE3 Project Team would like to announce that the two street surveys have been
successfully completed. They took place in Kumanovo and Shtip, the past two days, Friday
18 and Saturday 19, 2024. We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took
the time and participated in our in-person street surveys and shared their thoughts with us!
During those two-days happening, we engaged with hundreds of local residents who shared
their valuable thoughts and insights on waste management practices, recycling habits and
thought about circular economy affairs.
Everyone’s participation helped us to have the full image and understand the community
attitudes towards waste management, recycling, and circular economy. What we learned
from you is clear: we all share a common goal. We all want a cleaner, greener and more
sustainable environment and we all can do something for it. Many participants expressed a
strong interest in actively contributing to making this vision a reality.
Your input is always valuable and guides us in developing effective policies that address local
needs and concerns while promoting sustainable living. The feedback we gathered from the
surveys is very essential and will be further analyzed for improving waste managements
practices across the East and North East regions.
We are committed to ensure that your voices are heard. All responses will be taken into
account as we continue working together for the implementation of the regional waste
management systems in the East and North-East regions that benefit both, the environment
and our communities.
